How to Estimate Power Usage
To get an idea of how long a device can run on a Portable Power Station, you can use a simple calculation. Please note, this is only an estimate, as real-world usage can vary based on efficiency and other factors.
Estimated Usage Time (in hours) = Power Station Capacity (Wh) ÷ Device Power Usage (W)
Examples:
Power Station Capacity
Device Power Usage
Estimated Run Time
1200Wh
400W
1200 ÷ 400 = 3 hours
1000Wh
250W
1000 ÷ 250 = 4 hours
500Wh
100W
500 ÷ 100 = 5 hours
Keep in mind:
This is a rough estimate - actual performance may be shorter or longer depending on real usage conditions.
Ensure your device power usage is below the max rated watts the power station can ouput.
Always allow some buffer in your calculations to account for energy loss or variations in power draw.
