The Stealth Wireless remote control system is compatible with both 12v and 24v winches and has a range of up to 100 feet depending on local conditions. This allows you to move around whilst carrying out winching making it both easier and safer. It comes with an on/off button and an LED indicator allowing you to avoid unintentional activation. The simple wiring on this unit allows it to be easily retro fitted to most types of 12v and 24v solenoid controlled winches.

Lost or broken a handset?  With most budget controls this means replacing the whole system, which is more expensive and takes up valuable time and effort. With the Stealth remote this is not a problem! Rather than having to replace the whole system, simply purchase a replacement handset and pair it with the existing receiver.  This feature alone makes the Stealth Wireless control stand out from the crowd!

How to Estimate Power Usage

To get an idea of how long a device can run on a Portable Power Station, you can use a simple calculation. Please note, this is only an estimate, as real-world usage can vary based on efficiency and other factors.

Estimated Usage Time (in hours) = Power Station Capacity (Wh) ÷ Device Power Usage (W)

Examples:

Power Station Capacity

Device Power Usage

Estimated Run Time

1200Wh

400W

1200 ÷ 400 = 3 hours

1000Wh

250W

1000 ÷ 250 = 4 hours

500Wh

100W

500 ÷ 100 = 5 hours

Keep in mind:

  • This is a rough estimate - actual performance may be shorter or longer depending on real usage conditions.
  • Ensure your device power usage is below the max rated watts the power station can ouput.
  • Always allow some buffer in your calculations to account for energy loss or variations in power draw.
  • Some Power Stations can use Expansion Batteries to extend their capacity.

Wattage Reference Guide*

Questions & Answers:

  • The Remote won't connect to the winch. Have changed the battery in the handsets.

Most transmitter (handset) faults can be rectified by checking that batteries are both installed correctly, or other common causes are transmitter battery low, main power supply low, low voltage to the receiver or interference between transmitter and receiver.

If you have 2.4G wireless remote set then transmitters can be paired separately again, to pair a transmitter to receiver please follow these steps
See below in RED and also as follows.

It is also in the instructions manual under No. 7 Pairing.

To pair all you need to do is:

    1. Turn off the power to the receiver
    2. Turn off power to transmitter (handset)
    3. Turn on power to transmitter (handset)
    4. Press and hold IN & OUT buttons continuously
    5. Turn on power to receiver
    6. Release IN & OUT buttons (should get a sold red light on transmitter)
    7. (If you don’t) Press green button on transmitter (handset)
    8. Then press either IN or OUT to move winch.
    9. Pairing complete

If transmitter and receiver still has a fault or will not pair the transmitter or the whole set should be replaced.

  • looking at changing my winch remotes. currently have 2 really generic winch remotes which the casings are broken. used on a 13,500lb winchmax 12v winch. im wanting to know if these stealth branded winch remotes will work as a replacement, im assumning all the wiring is the same so i should be able to just swap it out and all good ??

The majority of our wireless controls are univeral and should work with most solenoid using winches yes.
